| | It's May, so that means I can finally post the Bobson Summer campaign. I've seen some of the pictures in their outlets so I know it's safe to post. :)
These are my personal favorites. I'm not uploading all the layouts, just the ones I like, as always.
As far as photoshop goes, I fixed or tweaked the color balance. In John Lloyd's case, I minimized his cheeks slightly (hehe).
Maja really is a pretty girl, but I've never EVER seen her on tv. In fairness, I hardly ever watch local channels.
Since hardly anyone clicks on the photos, I'll just type up some behind the scenes details here.
For "Door", there was a concern that the pose would look too similar to one they did last year. Personally, I like this one better than the one we ended up with where Lloydie was standing outside the door and the camera faced inward.
I really didn't like the lighting in the alternate shot, it looks like the inside of the house is burning. I prefer this one because of its natural light and natural looking pose. Even if the pose is similar to one from last year, the look and feel is quite different.
I love the "Arm" photo! I know, John Lloyd kinda looks gay. It's just that this came from a peg where we were all joking the guy looked gay because of the pose, and then John Lloyd just did the pose on a whim. Every time I look at the picture I laugh because of that. It's...makulit. :D
The "Swing" photo, from what I've heard, is already out in certain Bobson branches. I think they picked one where Maja is lying down tho. My one complaint here is the accessories. I know, the accessories are mostly mine but if I had my druthers, I'd have picked other ones or kept things very simple.
For a summer campaign, we had the tremendous good luck of having it rain on the day of Maja's pictorial. Galing noh? :P We made do with the rain and shot her holding an umbrella. Of course, to save the lights, we were all inside an open hut, including Maja. I fixed the photo a wee bit to get rid of the hut's roof which could be seen in a small part of the background.
As you can see from the photos, Bobson has nice basics. Check out their outlets, you'd be surprised. Of course, everything is moderately priced. Go buy your summer casual clothes from them. :D

If you notice, the photo I picked of John Lloyd is not the one on Edsa right now. I have issues with the picture on Edsa, seeing it makes me sad as I don't agree with picture choice nor how they cropped it. Heh.
The Maja Salvador picture is the actual one on the billboard. I like that better. Yes, that's really her waistline you see on there. I know, unfair noh?
Breaking news: We were in the south area A LOT last week and we (fotog and I) realized that it's a different Maja picture they used on the billboard. Gah. It's a better choice though as compared to Lloydie's. Oh well.
Please do check out Bobson stores, they have cute clothes, promise! I want the skirt Maja is wearing for myself!
